Nowadays all things are simplified within our hand because of the internet. It is used to connect all people through Skype, Whatsapp, Viber, Facebook, etc… and also it is used to fulfill our needs in an easier way .We can get latest update all over the world and connect with our family, friends and relatives like its our doorsteps. But some of the telecommunication networks would charge more amount for the some specified application which is used by most of the people.
What is mean by net neutrality and how it will affect?
Net neutrality is nothing but all data used by the users is treated equally. There is no discrimination in website, content and user (i.e) everything must be treated equally. Net neutrality is a principle that says Internet Service Providers (ISPs) should treat all traffic and content on their networks equally.
As mentioned above most of the people used internet for streaming videos and songs, surfing to upgrade their knowledge, creating new websites and blogs to share their knowledge and thoughts . If net neutrality is absent, any network provider can charge different data charges for the websites we view and applications we use. If they increase data charges for the sites which is mostly used by users, it is a burden to all. So it’s our duty to raise our voice for the cause of NET NEUTRALITY.
TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) asks the opinion about this issue so everyone go to the “savetheinternet.in” website and register our voice against this issue.
